15cm of low density new snow overtop of a 15cm thick rain crust. Some areas of the mountain this crust is supportive and other areas it is degrading. Compression (x2) shows results below the crust on forming facets. Facet growth was uneven, results were medium and characteristics were sudden pop and uneven breaks.
