Bluebird day in the Telkwas

Today we rode in the Telkwa Range. There was a new layer of surface hoar size 7-10mm present on all aspects and elevations. During snowpack tests we were able to locate the Dec 23rd surface hoar down 30cm from the snow surface. We had moderate sudden collapse results during compression tests and but no propagation during extended column tests. We observed no new avalanches.
