South Monashees

Witnessed NA class 2 wind slab on a NE aspect while stopped for a snack. Group was discussing wind increasing and being able to see the snow being re-distributed when the avalanche occurred across the narrow valley from us. Small start zone with long/steep run out. Avalanche terminated in the middle of the run out zone. Prior to this we observed 5 other class 2-2.5 (approx) deposits as we crossed near run out areas. All were 12-72 hours old and occurred on multiple aspects.
