Super reactive wet slab in the steep areas around whitewater ski resort. We skied Terra Ratta trees and triggered several sz. 1-1.5 wet slab avalanches that picked up steam surprisingly quick. The most significant was over 20 m wide with 25 cm crown that ran close to 100 m down. Anything over 35 degree angle was easily triggered by ski cutting. Snow surface was getting wet and heavy on lower half of mountain, and there was significant wind and around 30 cms in upper elevations. Be safe out there and approach steep terrain very cautiously!
