Very nice day out in the Tunnel Creek area. There was some evidence of wind loading to be found, but slabs were relatively small. Little to no wind to speak of when we were actually out there. The temperature was significantly warmer than the previous day, but not so warm it was super concerning. There was the odd tree bomb but we weren’t exactly in t shirts. We talked to another group who had been out in the morning and they told us they did not observe any signs of instability. There was the odd small sloughing on the slopes we rode but nothing significant. A member of our group had been to the same area the day before and said the snow was significantly lighter the previous day. The snow we rode was good but significantly denser than the previous two days.
