No Sun but Good Fun!

We were checking out the snowpack in the McLatchie area and managed to find some good skiing too! At treeline elevation there was about 150 cm of snow. With no significant results in our snowpack tests we chose a steep north east run that was sheltered from past wind, and we were rewarded sweet pow turns.

We had a resistant planar result in our compression test within the old storm snow, but just couldn't get it to propagate with our extended column tests. We tested the early Dec crust but it was very well bonded to the snow above and below in this location.
