Avalanche

Stepping off of the skin track on express creek road, we triggered a small avalanche (run path ~25 feet, crown depth ~3 inches, crown width ~60 feet) on a rollover feature above the road. The slide sluffed onto the road where we were standing and the debris was 1-2 feet deep. Nobody was injured or buried. We interpreted the slide as a shallow storm slab below treeline.
