Light snow, cold, calm, overcast.

Snowpack

Snowpack observed on NE aspect BTL. HS ~100-130cm. Surface snow was 30-40cm of unconsolidated storm snow from the past several days. The top 90cm of the snowpack was a F-1F (top to bottom) slab sitting on 30-40cm basal facets. Instability tests yielding inconsistent results: ECTN, CT21 sudden collapse, and most concerning was a PST 20/100(end) that managed to knock me down to the ground when it popped. No recent activity observed, no cracking, and no whumfing.
