thin clouds before 8:30, then sunny with wind and even some melting of surface snow on easterly aspects by 12:00 pm

Avalanche

East Aspect Above Treeline about 12,250 ft. This section of No Name has avalanched earlier this year. I observed it on 1/25 as having fresh pillowy snow which completely covered up the previous slide. Today, 1/29, No Name had broken again, in many spots to the ground.
