Blue skies and warm temps in the morning gave way to increasing winds and cloud cover. By late afternoon, cloud cover had increased to 100 percent
Snowpack
Near and above treeline, large fracture and collapses can still be observed on northwest through east aspects, less as you inch closer to the western and southern points of the compass. Although the slopes that face west and south that produce collapsing are fewer, I was still able to find some.The snow surface was beginning to get moist by late-morning but increasing cloud cover and winds kept any warm-up issues at bay
