Avalanche
A large and deep natural avalanche on the North side of Corbett peak was estimated to have run Wednesday 3/9, when sustained W and SW winds were moving significant snow on this end of the Sneffels range. N aspect ATL, HS-N-R2-D3, appears nearly full depth. (Included in photos for comparison is same face from 2/26). A fresh slab avalanche on the East face of Corbett triggered by wind deposition from this morning's Northerly winds, E aspect ATL, SS-N-R2-D2.5, appears to have gone deep in places. A fresh slab on Reconnoiter Peak NE aspect ATL, SS-N-R2-D2. A shallow slab at the head of Angel Creek, likely triggered overnight by wind deposition from Northerly winds, SE aspect ATL SS-N-R2-D1.5
