Weather
Mid to upper 20s at 0930. The sun had just hit the face about an hour prior.
Snowpack
The snow was soft and not affected by the wind. There was a small half inch crust from the day prior. I There were some wet slides on the upper slope more directly facing the sun from the day prior is my guess.
Avalanche
I was on a South face when I felt the ground move and heard a large rumble. There were 2 roughly 50 yd wide cracks on the SW face above me. They remotely propagated at least 300 yards from myself. The remote trigger passed under wet slides from the day prior making me believe this was a persistent slab.
