Snowpack
Intense wind transported snow developed thick slabs several hundred feet below the ridgeline on leeward slopes Friday and Saturday. The wind transported snow seemed to bond well to the old snow interface on most slopes. Several pits on northerly-facing slopes near and above the treeline showed a spatially variable persistent weak layer is still present 3 to 4 feet below the snow surface. All snowpack tests showed stable results aside from a couple of shallow propagating ECT's on RGwp interfaces. A few localized collapses at the valley floor on Sunday within the Very Wet snow that was buried by 2 to 4cm of new snow that morning.
Avalanche
Two small wind slab avalanches observed on leeward slopes that likely slid Friday and Saturday.
