Sun was shinning most of the day with light snow and mild wind we were between 10600 and 10800 ft at a southeast facing aspect
Snowpack
We dug a pit at around 10600 ft on a SE facing slope that was 30 degrees and had some wind loading. The pit was 170cm wide and 238 cm long with a depth of 115 cm. ECT 12 @ 85cm on faceted snow with a sudden collapse.
Avalanche
We did not see any other avalanche activity other then the already reported on the east facing head wall by the broome hut earlier this month
