Pit observation at 11,900', 12 degree NE facing slope. Wind 15 mph out of W-SW. Snow was 77 cm deep. Weak bottom layer 20 cm thick. Grains large and sugary heavy faceting. Firm layer at 25 to 35 cm depth. Upper layers were softer. Column test with CTV at 20 cm.
