Today, we had the initial objective of doing Little Sifton traverse but bailed out after seeing that the alpine was pretty windy and wondering about the presence of cornices & wind drifted snow accumulation over Sifton col. We went back on our tracks to ski Rogers run instead and had great fun in the trees with all that amazing powder. Also, we saw a size 1.5-2 avalanche that was triggered by a skier today (saturday) just after a convexity on an east facing slope just above grizzly shoulder.

We passed by this avalanche in the beginning of the afternoon and came closer to have a look at it and make sure that no one needed help or rescue. Seeing what it was possible to trig today make us reorient our choice of run to a mellower one.
