Stay safe out there. A member of a party of 3 jumped off the cornice near the summit, landing on a (thank god consolidated) wind slab above the uptrack. Not a great time to see that behaviour while our healthcare system is bracing for the pandemic. Sunny day for the most part, with only 3 parties and 7 ppl out. Snowpack at the bottom is ~70cm faceted almost all the way through, creeks are opening up. Good coverage at treeline but facets are not far below, watch out of hidden rock wells. -4C at the parking lot in the morning, +3C by 5pm.
