Arrived to the Gorge around 0730 today. Upon arrival to KM17, we observed light FZRA and FZFG. Around a 1mm ice crust was forming over 30-40cms F-4F snow. We skied NE facing slopes and didn't observe any forms of instability however the new crust made the skiing moderately difficult during our first run. Discouraged, we almost decided to call it quits after our first run at 0930 but decided to go up for another. During our second run, the FZFG and FZRA ceased and we noticed that the crust layer was breaking down due to the warmer temperatures. The skiing progressively got better as we skied our second, third, and fourth runs. Stoke was alive with everyone at the Gorge even with the changing conditions. 15km looked THRASHEDDDDD.
