We skied the lower parts of log cabin and had a good time. There was significant wind transport overnight and tons of wind loading. We dug a pit halfway up on a 20° NE aspect slope between 1050 and 1100m. We found the snowpack to be 140cm deep, and on an extended column test, the top wind slab failed on the 3rd wrist tap and propagated across the column. The slab was on the top of the the column and 20cm thick. We also noticed strong N winds above up drifting a ton of snow. (Sorry for the terrible photo)
