Toured up through humming bird pass, about 20 cms relatively fresh snow. Humming bird had shallow snow and lots of early season hazards, open water in some spots. North side of evening ridge had decent coverage, south side had lots of snaggy fallen trees and willow lower down.

This was a quick look at the snowpack, no tests or crystal observations. Snow 4F 75 cm down to 25, where there is a small crust. Snow turns sugary to ground. ice crust around 10 cms.
