Location Vail Pass, South West Uneva Peak Aspect: SW Elevation: 11,800 Precipitation: S3 Wind: Constant 10-20 mph, 30mph gusts Wind loading prior and during tour. Obvious signs of significant transportation of snow from W to NW

Obvious crust above facets. All aspects from 10,800 to 11,800 Quick hand shear test broke easily at the crust/facets interface near to ground. Hollow sounding snow in spots and "woompf" settle when group was standing together in close proximity. Approx. 28 deg. SW slope. No signs of shooting cracks.
