Weather

Variable from sunny and mid-30's to cloudy, windy and 20's. Winds from NW at ridgeline.

Snowpack

8-16" of snow from last storm. Snow on South and East was heavy from wind depositing, snow on north facing, sheltered locations was still low-density. Snow on south-facing slopes was rounding all the way to the ground, but not isothermal yet at 12,000'.

Avalanche

Observed crowns of 2 small (D1) wind-slab avalanches at ridge tops, both East facing above TL. Unknown timing of when they happened. Saw lots of roller balls on south facing slopes and some moderate sloughing on steep slopes.
