Weather
Snow squall in afternoon produced very little snowfall. Winds were moderate near ridgelines. Temperatures warmed the lower we traveled in elevation.
Snowpack
Cold and dry snow persists on shandy north facing slopes at high elevations. Small sluff avalanches were triggered on very steep slopes, but no other signs of insatiability observed. Many slopes below treeline were ischemic and punchy, but shallow. Snow at lower elevations is melting quickly.
Avalanche
Small sluffs in steep above treeline north facing terrain. Small Loose Wet avalanche on steep slopes below treeline.
