Weather
Low cloud obscured visibility until 10am. Temps in the 20's - felt much warmer in the sun. Light winds, but could see snow pluming from ridges. Gustier as we reach ridgeline.
Snowpack
Traveled on south and south east slopes near and above treeline. West slopes were striped bare with the exception of below ~11000', were snow still on trees suggests winds stayed at the upper elevations in this valley. HS below treeline ranged from 20cm to 60cm. Shaded below treeline was mostly not supportable for skis. Areas that were exposed to the sun had a supportable 10cm crust at the ground. Near and above treeline southeast slopes sported touchy wind drifts which cracked locally around skis. All noted avalanche activity from 11/24 was recorded on this aspect. South slopes near treeline HS 40-80cms.
