Weather

cold, calm, mostly clear. Single digits early in AM, but warmed up and was pretty great touring temps by 10

Snowpack

Pretty obvious difference between S and N side of both Coal Creek and Deer Creek. On the skin up the crust was buried just under the new snow, about 15-20cm. I got one or two large collapses on the skin track in the steeper section before you gain the bench. The north side of both felt quite a bit deeper, with boot pen being pretty much to the ground and ski pen was 30-35 cm. We got several collapses as well skiing down, but saw no moving snow.
