Cool and breezy southwest wind. High clouds started moving overhead around 11 am.
Snowpack
Snow depths were generally 2 to 3 inches around 10,000 feet on shady slopes and up to 8 inches deep at 11,000 feet. The snow consists of top to bottom facets, generally 1-1.5 mm in size. Found a thin melt-freeze crust on west-northwest slopes. Most extensive snow cover is observed on north and northeast slopes above treeline, and is more isolated on similar aspects near treeline.
