Weather

Really strong gusts today (in the 50's) yet no snow left to move in exposed areas near and above treeline.

Snowpack

West slopes near treeline were either scoured clean or held drifts up to 60cm thick. These were pencil hard. Below treeline snow depth averaged 70-95 cm in various stages of facets transitioning to depth hoar. Foot pen was to butt or ground, whichever hit first. Snow surface was supportable to skis with ~10cm of ski pen. Crumbling column collapses in attempted CT tests.
