Weather

Clear and mostly warm. Ridgeline winds were gusting all day, reaching the lower valley.

Snowpack

Snowpack remains weak and barely supportable to snow machines below treeline. Very easy to stick your sled in bottomless facets. Ridgeline winds continued to load easterly slopes with whatever snow was left for transport.

Avalanche

3 natural D1.5 avalanches on the east side of Chicago Ridge, one BTL snowmobile triggered avalanche on a steep wall above a creek.
