Warm, windy, and partly cloudy.
Snowpack
At upper elevations recent new and wind-drifted snow has bonded well. Winds continued to move any available snow today. On the surface, past winds did create a firm 5cm slab on exposed slopes, but the wind drifted snow does not show signs of its ability to avalanche. At lower elevations, the snowpack is deep into the warming process, and many slopes are isothermal. Rollerball and pinwheels are widespread on sunny slopes from warm temperatures over the past week.
Avalanche
No new natural avalanche activity. An explosive triggered avalanche was observed near the ski area boundary in the new snow.
