S1 El Jebel to Carbondale this am with no precip at the summit of McClure at 0900. BKN skies on GM with temps in the teens to low twenties

8" HN24 / .75" HN24W over supportable MFcr (3cms) Shovel tilt failed with moderate taps at the old / new interface with GP, PP, and some small FCsf observed at the interface. CTM16 RP below the crust on rounding facets. HS 47" at the wx plot. The unsupported slopes above the rim on GM are holding snow and based on field work on Wednesday the shaded N start zones have a firm surface or a similar smooth temp temp crust below the fairly dense HN.
