Unseasonably warm day, especially on southern exposures. Mostly sunny with scattered clouds moving rapidly across the sky.
Snowpack
Lower elevation south to southeast facing slopes were incredibly thin and patchy. Snow surface was moist to slushy. Higher up near-treeline on an east facing slope the snowpack was also thin and weak. HS was 90 cm with the bottom 30cm comprised entirely of 2-3mm depth hoar chains. Mid-pack, there was a small deteriorating slab 4F hardness. All other layers were fist. ECTN down 30cm
