Avalanche

We triggered no avalanches, but observed several recent natural events. Most were near ridge tops at or above treeline, on east aspects - leeward slopes. We performed a crown profile in a slide we found on our route. We classified it as: SS-N-D1/R2-O. Slab was ~35 cm, ran on a thick depth hoar layer at 39 cm - see profile.
