Not able to observe. Based on previous trips into area, face had been building facets at ground level under layers of wind loading from each storm event
Avalanche
Slab avalanche broke on east facing slope at about 12400’, at a rock band about 200-300’ above the snowmobiler, about 80’ across, literally just after the rider had passed under the rocks. Debris continued about 150’ below riders tracks. I would say R1, D2,
