Weather
Clear skies to the east with small clouds blowing through. To the west, a large cloud mass sat over the Sawatch Range for most of the day. Ridge top winds were blowing moderate and moving what little snow was left for transport.
Snowpack
On west facing slopes the snowpack ranged from 50-100cm throughout this corner of the zone. BTL, February storms have built a barely supportable slab over very weak snow near the ground. NTL, westerly winds have drifted snow in to a myriad of drifts and slabs, but remains thin as well. ATL the snow surface was heavily wind effected and was very thin and scoured. No signs of instability observed in this terrain.
