Weather

0700 Obs: HN/W; 15"/1.8". HST/W; 23"/2.4". Light snow and snow showers during the day with minimal additional accumulations. Moderate to strong SW winds with moderate wind loading. Temps in the mid 20s.

Snowpack

Ski tests in highway test slopes produced shooting cracks, but no avalanche release NE-S-SE near and below TL). Numerous rumbling collapse observed on same aspects. Sun came out at lower elevations during the day and lots of wet rollers, but nothing to the edge of the highway.

Clouds never lifted enough to allow observation of near and above TL highway avalanche paths.
