Weather

Some new snow from morning showers. S-1 early afternoon ramping up in intensity to S2. Broken skies, winds picked up though gusty. started veering NW. Damp day.

Snowpack

Shallow but consolidated. Moist melt forms down low; layered and structured higher. Grabby crusts on all but northerly slopes. Steep, open easterly and westerly slopes have very shallow snowpack, with lots of vegetation near ground showing.
