Swamp Canyon 70 degrees 11,200 Ft. The snowpack in the area is over two meters deep. The recent storm has left 15 -20 cm of light and dry snow. A loose dry avalanche on slopes > than 35 degrees is possible. Snowpack tests show resistant fractures with a shear quality Q2. The persistent weak layer 80 cm from the surface is stubborn. No cracking of collapsing observed today.
