Weather

Full on winter- moderate snowfall accompanied by intense wind transport with temperatures in the teens. Travel conditions don't get much worse on the Pass. At 10:00 AM, 10.5" of new snow this morning with 1.25" of water content. At 3:00 PM, 3" additional. Since 2/3/19, 25" of snowfall with 3.2" of water content.

Snowpack

Signs of instability were isolated but significant- shooting cracks and rumbling collapse on an E aspect near treeline. Major wind drifting even below treeline.
