Snowpack
I was out in late afternoon and found dry snow on northerly slopes near to above treeline. Hard, wind compacted snow exists near ridgelines with softer and dry wind blown snow further down. On southerly slopes I found mostly supportable snow with moist snow from the surface to 2 to 3 inches down. There were some areas I sank into the snowpack mostly below treeline and a little higher. No rollerballs or collapsing or cracking.
Avalanche
None observed around Fremont. Not even a rollerball.
