W, 11000' (Third switchback above Lindley Hut) 12:30pm HS: 100cm HN: 10cm Ski Pen: 20-40cm F hardness 3.5mm FC is approx. 50cm down from surface. F hardness 6mm DH is approx. 80cm from surface. Whumpf observed in this area Multiple, but inconsistent sudden results in compression tests. No propagation in ECT. Propagation to END of slab in PST within Depth Hoar layer.

Avalanche

Natural avalanche at 11,600' on a W aspect. Powder cloud observed rising through treed bench approx. 1000' above and to East of the Lindley Hut.
