Hankin is getting deeper. Weather station was right and we found >15cm of fresh snow at treeline. No new naturals observed in cardiac bowl with old debris getting covered up with new snow. Two skier triggered 0.25 storm slabs on steep treeline convexities at the top of run 1. Surprised with how well Hankin is skiing. Pretty good coverage above 1000m. Just need some cold temps to freeze the creeks on the approaches. More snowpack information is in the snowpack tab.

Quick pit to look at rain crust interface. Was surprised to find the crust buried under 80cm of snow in the 180cm snowpack on NE aspect @1300m below idiots knob. Completed an ECT and got the following: ECTN11 @ 150 - storm interface ECTN14 @ 135 - storm interface ECTN29 @ 120 - storm interface The rain crust and facet complex dec 6th was @100cm. The crust felt softer than last weekend anecdotally.
