great ice conditions on both le tabernac and whoa whoa, capitaine. plastic and slightly wet, just on the verge of too plastic/too wet. Trail breaking to the upper climbs was fairly civilized- 20-30cm boot penetration at most. no signs of large avalanche debris, though the steeper cliff faces on either side have shed their snow into the gully. If the weather remains cold, without inversions and not too much snow comes down, the coming days could provide more windows to get in there safely.

just cold enough to feel comfortable being in the huge gully, that combined with the current stability concluded in other reports from the range. More cloud cover would have reduced the danger of collapsing daggers to either side of whoa capitane, we felt that was the biggest hazard. mostly small stuff though a large dagger collapsed from les miserables and was close for comfort. the belay there is not at all well sheltered from falling debris. amazing how the sun effects this bowl, when it was -20 at the car.

up to the bowl above le tabernac, signs of stability, and denisty underfoot. solar effect has released some small loads from the steeper cliffs on either side of the bowl, besides this, no sizeable debris spotted.
