Avalanche

Two significant avalanches on Whetstone Mountain. A very large (D3) broke in Barcelona Bowl, north-facing. This one stepped into deeply buried persistent weak layers. A large (D2) one ran in storm snow on Whetsonte's Main Bowl, east-facing, below the summit. March 23, 2023.
