The snow surface had a 5 cm rust at 9:00 AM that had broken down by 10:30 AM.
Avalanche
A long running wet loose avalanche in Lake B near Independence Pass. The avalanche started above tree line but ran more than half way down the track. Southwest aspect above to below tree line.
