The day started out warm and we observed ridgetop winds and old avalanche debris in the gully leading up to the climb. The weather deteriorated throughout the morning with moderate to strong winds blowing around S-1 to S2 (less than 1cm/ hour to 2cm/hour) snowfall. I would be wary of the avalanche slopes above the climb after this storm. Temperatures at the car park in the morning was around 5 degrees C, and decreased to 2 degrees C upon return. The ice climb itself is in great condition. Be careful on the approach trail as there are icy spots.
