Skied the North end of Paddy’s East. Long and slow approach with a skinning/bootpack mix. Boiler plate ice up to ~5000ft, the east face skied well with boot top powder. ~2.5m probed snow depth in the top bowl. A South wind began picking up around 3pm, moving snow across ridge tops. Descend back down to road was horrible. Very slow travel down bullet proof sastrugi and ice. No signs of recent instability or avalanches. Very little bushwhacking required after last years avalanches took out so many trees above the gravel pit.
