Skied the chute surrounded by rock lookers right of Kindergarten and High School. Debris had run all the way down the fan (which averages 36’). Boot packed to the end of the couloir @2450m which averaged 40-45’. Mixed bag going up the couloir - from wind skin to settled sluff to pow pockets. Significant sluff action on the way down - staying in the sluff made for good ski quality otherwise would only have been ok. We then skied the avi path across from the couloir on other side of lake - really good boot top pow with minimal wind effect. Turned around @2300m. New snow seemed to have bonded well to the older sun crust. No signs of instabilities noticed throughout the day. Did notice quite a few older crowns on both N and S aspects (N would be béante steep cliffs and slabs triggered by sluff - S seemed triggered in the alpine from loading). Very light winds thorough out the day and mild temps. Not much for solar input.
