Skied out of Larsen Jan 28-31. 28th was calm, clear and cold. Skied northerly facing terrain from peak to below treeline. Surface hoar present and well preserved at all elevations ranging from 10-15mm in alpine to 20mm+ at and below treeline. One cornice failure observed from what looked like a couple days before didn't produce any avalanche activity. Jan 29th brought 20-30cm of low density snow with little to no wind tapering off in the morning of the 30th which was another cool calm day with broken skies. Wind picked up a bit out of the N-NE overnight on the 30th with signifigant wind transport filling in tracks around the cabin. We didn't ski before flying out on the 31st but it appeared that the new snow was stiffening up around the cabin with the overnight wind.
