Weather

Broken skies, temps in the single digits, and moderate west-northwest winds accompanied by strong gusts. Moderate blowing snow where I travelled, a bit more intense at ridgetop. About 4" of new snow in the last 24hrs.

Snowpack

Wind depostited new snow sits on top of a fairly stout slab over basal facets. Propagating ECT results at the slab/basal facet interface. I traveled on southeast to east aspects, and probing and quick hand pits revealed a similar structure throughout my travels.
