Weather
Warm day with high thin clouds covering most of the sky by midday. Very light winds even at upper elevation sites.
Snowpack
We traveled on most aspects in forested terrain. The upper 40 cm of the snowpack is still cold and wintry on all but southerly aspects even after a few days of warm weather. The snow in Engineer B, an east-southeast aspect was heavy and warm, and the surface was moistening by midday, but surprisingly, no crust from the last two days of warm weather. Quite a few sluffs and rollerballs on more directly south aspects like Henry Brown and East Lime, but not a lot of evidence of warming elsewhere.
